This month we hosted two highly relevant INSIGHTS discussions with Bruce Booth and Elaine Jones about the CEO/Board Chair relationship, board structure and board effectiveness. 

This gave rise to the question whether life science companies should measure board performance and effectiveness and how best to go about this.

We are pleased to host this improptu lunch-time discussion with Dr. Randall Peterson, Senior Director of the Leadership Institute of the London Business School and Dr JoEllyn Prouty McLaren of Talentsage, in order to explore how best to consider and assess your boards' effectiveness and structure. 

Over the past 3 years, Prof. Randall Peterson of London Business School has spoken multiple times about board effectiveness. As a result of numerous interviews with CEOs in our community, biotech board chairs as well as investors, he has built up a deep understanding of the boardroom dynamics of European venture-funded life science companies. Furthermore, Randall and JoEllyn consult and asses boardrooms around the globe on board effectiveness and related matters.
