Kristian Alomá, PhD, is one of the most popular resources with our CEOs at LifeScience ORG.
The best stories inspire people because they tap into how people think. In this session, Kristian will demonstrate the psychological, motivational, and communicative power of story. His session breaks down the elements of narrative and how you can use them to make you and your ideas as engaging as a box office blockbuster.
You’ll walk away with a clearer sense of how to refine your story and the tools needed to tell it. By the end, your story will be drawing people in and inspiring others to find out more.
Kristian believes designing a successful relationship with customers requires the intentional and intelligent application of the social sciences. During his nearly two-decade career in marketing, he has helped the world’s largest pharmaceutical brands improve the wellbeing of patients, worked with iconic consumer brands like Harley-Davidson and Intel to find new ways to connect with consumers, and helped nonprofit organizations transform their fundraising efforts. He began his own brand strategy firm built on his PhD work regarding the relationship between brands and their consumers. Kristian also serves as a mentor and facilitator at 1871 and is a lecturer at the Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management at Northwestern University. Kristian lives on the North Shore of Chicago with his partner and two children though they’d all rather be traveling.
