Kristian believes designing a successful relationship with customers requires the intentional and intelligent application of the social sciences. During his nearly two-decade career in marketing, he has helped the world’s largest pharmaceutical brands improve the wellbeing of patients, worked with iconic consumer brands like Harley-Davidson and Intel to find new ways to connect with consumers, and helped nonprofit organizations transform their fundraising efforts. He began his own brand strategy firm built on his PhD work regarding the relationship between brands and their consumers. Kristian also serves as a mentor and facilitator at 1871 and is a lecturer at the Kellogg School Center for Nonprofit Management at Northwestern University. Kristian lives on the North Shore of Chicago with his partner and two children though they’d all rather be traveling.
