"Too often, we as women are held to different standards than men. We are asked to prove ourselves more and are often listened to less. When we are challenged or undermined in these or other ways, it can be difficult to find strategies that align with our goals and feel right to us individually."- Cheryl Strauss Einhorn

Many women founders and CEOs recognize that navigating leadership can come with distinct challenges. It won’t come as much of a surprise that research published in MIT Sloan Review highlights that women are less likely than men to see themselves as leaders.

However, studies also highlight that being a woman in leadership comes with unique strengths, offering powerful advantages in driving success and innovation.

“women outperformed men in 17 out of 19 key leadership competencies, including taking initiative, developing new capabilities, displaying high integrity and honesty, driving results, developing others, inspiring and motivating others, building relationships, collaborating and working effectively in teams, establishing stretch goals, and championing change. Women particularly excelled at self-development, integrity, and at taking initiative.” - MIT Sloan Review

Embracing your strengths can be your true superpower.
