Simon Cartmell has spent over 40 years in the life-science and healthcare sector. He has extensive pharmaceutical, biotech, med-tech and digital health experience.  Having risen to senior global roles in GlaxoWellcome and after Executive Director roles in UK public biotech companies, the past 20 years have been spent as a CEO in medtech and as an Operating Partner in venture capital funds. Consequently, he has extensive experience a wide range of private and public company boards as a non-executive director and chairman across multiple jurisdictions.  

He was awarded the OBE for services to the Healthcare Sector in the Queen’s Birthday Honours in July 2016
